  • “This training has really deepened and enriched my work as a trauma-informed psychologist. I have felt more readily able to attend to healing in different contexts (not just through talk therapy) and have felt more presence with my clients. Because this training really shifted ways that I think about myself, others, and yoga, I have experienced similar shifts in my work life.”

  • “This YTT has had an enormous impact on my personal life in illuminating how yoga is lived "off the mat." Through the intentional space provided by the YTT for me to learn and integrate different parts of myself, I have been able to show up more fully in all aspects of my personal and professional lives. I have found my experience in personal relationships with myself and with others to be richer and more fulfilling because this yoga training has helped me find my way toward experiencing reality as it is on the mat and, therefore, off the mat.”

  • “Thinking about the postures as ways to become centered, grounded, and calmer; to integrate the multiple layers of self; learning to use the asana as a focal point for meditation instead of mere physical exercises – that was all new to me.”

  • “I learned that a yoga teacher needs to be aware of visible and invisible disabilities and sensitivities of students. … A yoga teacher needs to be aware of her/his/their own cultural biases and forms of discrimination … A yoga teacher needs to be educated on racial justice/injustice.”

Total Tuition Cost $3,500

Tuition can be paid in two installments of $1,750. The first payment is due upon approved application (and reserves your spot); the second payment is due by the starting date of the second 100hr term. For YogaX payment procedures and refund policies, click here.

Stanford employees can use their STAP funds to help with tuition but our YTT does not qualify for tuition reimbursement programs because it is a certificate program not a degree program.
